At one time, Shina was working in a fast-paced environment, while life passed her by as she continued, like many of us out there, to meet her deadlines. With a high-pressure, yet successful career as a marketing art director, her health was not her immediate focus. It was when, as a result of a serious car accident, she was introduced to the healing benefits of Pilates and yoga, that she immediately developed a passion for healthy living. Over time, her yoga practice grew deeper and of greater importance to her life.
During her yoga teacher training, she was introduced to the principles of Ayurveda and found her life’s true calling. This ancient nutritional tradition emphasizes a balanced lifestyle through diet, exercise and body cleansing, which results in a healthy mind, body and spirit. This passionate desire to achieve optimal health, combined with her creative talent for cooking is the foundation for Rasa Eats.
Shina is now a certified Ayurvedic Consultant and intends to touch the lives as many people that she reach, so that they may too find their own life balance.
