Join us for a dance inspired workshop & a live performance choreographed by Erica Villalpando
Experience the conditioning methods and artistic approach of Modern and Ballet dance. Unleash your inner dancer by executing basic floor and standing exercises as well as some fun, simple teacher-led improvisations. Live drummers will accompany the class. No dance experience needed. Yoga mat is optional. Bare feet or socks is best!
Join us after class for a performance of an excerpt of the piece titled “Polymorphic,” choreographed by Erica Villalpando; performed by Nannette Brodie Dance Theater dancers, Priya Chisti, Teresa Rios, Stephanie Maxim and Erica Villalpando.
The piece has been seen in various prestigious dance festivals and theaters in Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles and Orange County since 2008. It was inspired by Erica’s yoga/Pilates practice, as well as eastern paintings, architecture, and the elements of nature.
